J6 Church of Christ is seeking a pulpit minister in the future. We currently have a very experienced minister who would be available to help mentor any candidate that would be chosen for the position (if they so desire). Duties would include preaching, teaching classes, equipping others to serve and community outreach. J6 is a congregation of 60-plus members (and looking to grow) located in Benson, Arizona. The J6 congregation serves members from the Benson, Sierra Vista, Willcox and Tucson areas.
The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of God’s Word and be able to effectively communicate biblical truths to others for spiritual growth. Additionally, he should also be able to relate well to members of all ages, and should be able to balance ministry duties while diligently attending to his family’s needs. Ministry work would be conducted under the oversight of four elders. Graduation from a school of preaching and/or a bachelor’s degree in ministry is preferred.
